Guide to using AI
Last Updated: October 2024
1. Formulate Clear and Specific Requests
The more precise and specific your question is, the better the response will be. If the question is too broad, AI may give a vague answer. Examples:
Instead of “Tell me about space,” ask “Which planets are in the Solar System?”
Instead of “Write an article on marketing,” specify “Write an article on digital marketing for startups.”
2. Break Down Complex Tasks into Parts
If your request is too complex or large, it’s better to split it into several steps. This approach will yield more detailed and accurate answers.
Example: “Explain the general principles of quantum physics” can be broken down into “Tell me about Heisenberg's uncertainty principle” and “Explain how superposition works.”
3. Ask Follow-up Questions
If the answer isn’t satisfactory or seems incomplete, feel free to ask follow-up questions.
Example: “Could you provide an example?” or “Could you explain that in simpler terms?”
4. Use Context
AIChat can keep track of previous responses and maintain the conversation's context, which is convenient for lengthy discussions or complex topics.
Example: if you start discussing the philosopher Socrates, you can continue asking questions on that topic without reintroducing the context: “What did Socrates say about virtue?”
5. Provide Examples and Variants
When asking AIChat to create something, whether a text, letter, or idea, provide examples of what you're looking for.
Example: “Write a meeting invitation in a formal business style” or “Generate three campaign ideas, one targeting young adults.”
6. Experiment with Phrasing
If the result isn’t satisfactory, try rephrasing your request. Sometimes small changes can make a big difference in the response.
Example: if the question “What kind of business should I start?” gives too general an answer, try specifying “What are some business ideas for an IT startup in 2024?”
7. Specify the Desired Style and Format of the Response
AIChat can adapt its style and format to meet your needs, which is helpful for professional correspondence, research reports, or creative tasks.
Example: “Write a response to a customer complaint in a polite, professional style” or “Explain this concept at a high school level.”
8. Request Examples, Tables, and Lists
AIChat can present information in structured forms—lists, tables, or examples.
Example: “List the top 5 most popular programming languages in 2023” or “Provide a table comparing the key differences between Java and Python.”
9. Clarify Sources and Information Origins
AIChat can reference sources or explain where information comes from. This is helpful if you want to know the basis of the response.
Example: “Can you explain which studies support this conclusion?”
10. Use AIChat as an Assistant, Not Just for Fact-Finding
AIChat can not only provide facts but also help with creative tasks, brainstorming, information analysis, idea generation, and project structuring.
Example: “Help me create a marketing strategy plan for a new product” or “Come up with three unique ideas for a culinary blog.”
